Darnell White, the “techy + camera guy" part of the duo, studied Information Systems and once had a budding career as a Computer Analyst before later realizing that his true passion lied beyond the walls of his career.

SHANIKA

Shanika Graham-White, the “cook + designer” part of the duo, studied Psychology in college, but soon realized her real passion for Interior Design, which she now credits for her beautifully staged food styling skills----the main star in her cooking style.

Brooklyn’s Sweet Tea Productions (BSTP) is the Brooklyn-based powerhouse duo of Darnell White and Shanika Graham‑White—husband-and-wife creatives who fuse bold vision with polished execution. With roots in tech, psychology, and interior design, they elevate food, drink, product, and commercial photography/videography into vibrant storytelling that pops off the screen.


Driven by a South-meets-Brooklyn vibe, their journey began alongside Shanika’s blog, Orchids + Sweet Tea, where Darnell’s cinematic eye and Shanika’s design-forward styling combined to create edgy, thought-provoking visuals. It wasn’t long before their bold, edgy, and thought-provoking visual style caught the attention of top creatives, brands, and agencies. Among their most meaningful accomplishments is the visual direction and creative development of their own cookbook for Orchids + Sweet Tea, as well as collaborating with creators and brands on major campaigns.
